Dear Church Family,
Our VBS is up and going. We have had lots of helpers from all age
brackets. I can also feel the prayers from all of you that have been pray-
ing. It is much appreciated. Our registration table has only the best ladies
signing up all the kids. The food from our kitchen staff has been good and
filling. The security has the entire grounds covered each night. The music
and media staff have done an excellent job leading and teaching music
and worship. The teachers and their assistants are always much appre
ciated as you share the gospel and plant seeds. The craft leaders have
planned and done an amazing job, and the projects are looking good. The
mission class has been having fun and learning how to sign language and
speak a few words in other languages. Finally, I want to give a HUGE
SHOUTOUT to LeighAnne and Lynn Sweatt for all the hard work they have
done this year in leading an amazing VBS. I’m sure there are others I have
forgotten to mention but God sees all and will bless.
I want to end on the most important part that I could possibly mention
from VBS. I set a goal of reaching 1 person for Christ this year.  If 1 person
prayed and received Jesus as their Lord and Savior, it would all be worth
it and God would receive the glory. Well, it happened and much more. God
blessed us with 6 kids who said they prayed to receive Christ. These 6
kids are now called children of God and will spend eternity in heaven
because of it. If we had said we are not going to do VBS this year because
it will take too much time, or it will cost too much money, or perhaps it’s
so tiring, would these kids have been saved? I can’t answer that because
I’m obviously not God. I do know that we would have missed out on an
amazing opportunity to be a part of God’s plan. It’s all about being available
to be used by God and then being obedient. God is amazing and we praise
and MAGNIFY Him today and every day.
         God Bless,

           Pastor Jason
