Dear Church Family,

April has come and gone like the wind and now May has arrived.
Typically, when we think of May we may think of such things as
flowers, warmer weather, or perhaps vacations. Yes, all those things
do typically happen in the month of May, but I want to remind you of
some other very important things that will be happening in May. First,
we have our Annual Homecoming Service on the first Sunday.
Dr. Larry Patterson will be making a return visit to preach for us that
day and the University of Mobile’s Deliverance will be bringing a
message through song. Next, we have Mother’s Day on the second
Sunday in May. Don’t forget the moms in your life, whether they are
your biological mothers or not. Sisterhood has some very nice
baskets in our lobby, that you have an opportunity to bid on. They
would make an awesome gift, while also supporting that ministry.
Then we have graduation for many of our very own students, who are
completing the next phase of their life. We will have a special time of
recognition on Sunday, May 18th during our regular service. The last
weekend of the month is Memorial Day weekend. This weekend is a
time in which we remember our military men and women, who are no
longer with us, but served so that we could be free in this great
nation that we live in. As you can see, May is a very busy month with
lots going on. No matter how busy it may be and whatever plans you
may be making, please don’t forget to keep God first and thank Him
for all the wonderful opportunities He allows us to experience.

   God Bless,

   Pastor Jason
